Simmtronics has launched its latest XPAD tablet in the Indian market, the XPAD Turbo at Rs. 7,999.
the launch of the XPAD Turbo tablet, Simmtronics has expanded its XPAD tablet
portfolio, which already includes XPAD-XQ1, XPAD X-722, XPAD X720, XPAD
801, XPAD X1010, XPAD 802 and XPAD Freedom.
The XPAD Turbo tablet
runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box, and comes with dual-SIM
support (2G+3G) and dual standby capabilites. It features a 7-inch
display with a resolution of 1024x600 pixels. The tablet is powered by a
1.2GHz dual-core processor with a Mali 400MP GPU and 512MB of RAM. The
XPAD Turbo tablet sports a 2-megapixel rear camera and also houses a VGA
The tablet comes with 4GB of inbuilt
storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. Connectivity
features on the XPAD Turbo tablet include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AGPS,
Micro-USB and 3G (via SIM). The XPAD Turbo tablet packs a 2800mAh
battery which the company claims can deliver up to 140 hours of standby
time and up to 4 hours of Internet browsing time.

Simmtronics had launched
the XPAD Freedom for the Indian market at Rs. 13,999 in October last
year. The Simmtronics XPAD Freedom tablet comes with a 7.8-inch IPS
display with 1024x768 pixels resolution. The tablet is a dual-SIM
(GSM+GSM) device with voice-calling support.
