Pantel Technologies, which had earlier launched budget tablets in
partnership with state-run BSNL has now launched a 3D-enabled tablet.
Penta T-Pad WS702C is priced at Rs. 7,499 and offer 2G voice support and
3G data through dongle. Wi-Fi support is, of course, included as well.
The
3D tablet has a 7-inch capacitive multi touch screen with a resolution
of 1024X600. Penta T-Pad WS702C comes with 8GB internal storage, 1GB DDR3 RAM,
1.2GHz Cortex A8 processor and runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich. There
is 2.0 megapixel rear camera and VGA front camera on board. The company
claims a six hours battery backup for this tablet.
Commenting on
the launch, Vijender Singh, Managing Director, Pantel Technologies
Private Limited said, "I am elated to launch Penta T-Pad WS702C which is
a very unique offering that is high on technology and low on cost. The
Penta T-Pad WS702C is India's Tablet PC that comes with a built-in 3D
Acceleration Graphics capability. I am sure that we will keep delighting
our customers always with such path-breaking offerings."
Penta
T-Pad WS702C will be competing with Swipe Tab X745, which was launched
recently. The only major difference between these two tablets is that
the Penta T-Pad WS702C has a 1GB RAM while Swipe has 512 MB. However,
Swipe Tab X745 is also a cheaper option as it costs Rs. 5,999.
