The rumour king Digitimes is back with another Google tablet rumour. This time the publication claims that Google's 7-inch tablet, which is being developed in partnership with Asus, will start shipping in June from the manufacturing plants.

According to the publication, the actual market release will happen in July. Google originally planned to launch this tablet in May, but design and cost did not meet the search giant's expectations thus it delayed to release to July.

Mountain View is planning to ship around 600,000 units of this tablet initially, although it will try to achieve 2-2.5 million in total 2012 shipments.

Some previous reports have suggested that Google might directly sell this tablet via its Google Play store in various market and even partner with some retailers.

There is no word on other specifications of this tablet, but we expect the presence of Ice Cream Sandwich, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
