Archos is a French consumer electronics company that was established in 1989 by Henri Crohas. Archos manufactures portable media players and portable data storage devices. Of late the company has started making tablets and smartphones as well. Archos has also manufactured devices for other companies. The company's smartphones run Android, while it has made Android tablets, apart from those running Windows. Archos's latest mobile launch is the 101 Saphir. The tablet was launched in February 2017. The tablet comes with a 10.10-inch display with a resolution of 800 pixels by 1280 pixels.
The Archos 101 Saphir is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8163 processor and it comes with 1GB of RAM. The tablet packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Archos 101 Saphir packs a 5-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 2-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
The Archos 101 Saphir runs Android 7.0 and is powered by a 6000mAh non removable battery. It measures 265.40 x 181.00 x 13.40 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 600.00 grams.
