Microsoft, besides announcing its Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL smartphones, has also announced a universal foldable keyboard accessory, which is compatible with Android, iOS and Windows devices. Also revealed at the company's event is that the Windows 10 OS will be reaching all Windows 8.1 devices this year.

The Universal Foldable Keyboard is the firm's first foldable keyboard, which needless to say, is also expected to work without any glitches with the upcoming Windows 10 OS for desktops. The firm has not yet detailed its availability or price. However, what is has shared is that the keyboard is wireless and will be connecting with devices via Bluetooth. The accessory will also be compatible with Windows 10 for phones.

At the ongoing MWC 2015 event, Microsoft besides announcing the Windows 10 rollout news to all Windows 8.1 devices this year, added that some of the Windows 10 features may vary based on the hardware specifications of the device. Speaking at the event, Microsoft's Executive Vice President of Devices and Services, Steve Elop said that until now over 2 million registered Windows Insider users have given 900,000 pieces of feedback for the latest OS.

Also, Cortana will also come as a part of the OS that will include an updated reminder feature and will sync across devices. Developers, who have signed up for the Windows Insider programme will be the first ones to experience the rollout.

The Redmond-based tech firm earlier this month made the Windows 10 Technical Preview for phones, available to download for the developers. However, it was added that it was the "earliest publicly available preview" and that it is still under development.

The firm also made its consumer technical preview of Office suite for desktop, Office 2016, available to download for all users willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement. The general release Microsoft Office 2016 is expected to be made available in the second half of 2015. The original preview, released last year, was available only on an invitation basis.

Microsoft had also released the Windows 10 January Technical Preview back in January, with several changes based on user feedback apart from the addition of Cortana.
