Panasonic seems all set to launch another entry-level Android 4.4 KitKat smartphone in India, dubbed the Panasonic T9, as it has been listed for purchase on an e-commerce site at Rs. 3,750 ahead of an official announcement.

As seen on the e-commerce site, the Panasonic T9 smartphone features dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) support and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. It sports a 3.5-inch HVGA (320x480 pixel) display and is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core (unspecified chipset) processor coupled with 512MB of RAM.

The smartphone comes with a 2-megapixel rear camera along with LED flash support and there is a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard. The Panasonic T9 supports an additional expansion via microSD card (up to 32GB), apart from the 4GB of inbuilt storage.

Connectivity options on Panasonic T9 are listed to include 2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. The smartphone packs a 1300mAh battery and is listed in a Black colour variant.

In October, Panasonic had launched the budget T40 smartphone in India, priced at Rs. 5,990. The Panasonic T40 smartphone comes with dual-SIM support and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box. It bears a 4-inch (480x800 pixels) WVGA IPS display.

The Panasonic T40 is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core (unspecified chipset) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It sports a 5-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash, while there is a secondary 2-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard. The Panasonic T40 packs a 1500mAh removable battery.
