Sony India has officially sent out invites for an event scheduled on Thursday, September 25 in New Delhi, where it is expected to launch Xperia Z3 family of devices it launched earlier this month at IFA 2014.

Sony had launched the Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact, Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact and the budget Xperia E3 smartphone, along with new QX lens-style cameras and wearable devices.

The Xperia E3 was launched in India earlier this month, priced at Rs. 11,990 for the single-SIM version, and Rs. 12,990 for the dual-SIM version. Notably, the India invite sent on Monday doesn't contain any mention of what Sony intends to launch at the event.

The Sony Xperia Z3 smartphone is the successor to the Xperia Z2 smartphone launched in February, The smartphone is priced at EUR 649 (roughly Rs. 51,500), EUR 679 (roughly Rs. 53,900) and EUR 699 (roughly Rs. 55,500) in Germany, France and Italy respectively. The smartphone is also priced at GBP 549 (roughly Rs. 54,600) in the UK.

The Xperia Z3 Compact is priced at EUR 499 (roughly Rs. 39,600) in Germany, France and Italy, and for GBP 429 (roughly Rs. 42,600) in the UK.

The 16GB Wi-Fi only Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact is available at EUR 379 (roughly Rs. 30,100) in Germany, France, and Spain, and at EUR 399 (roughly Rs. 31,700) in Italy. The same 16GB Wi-Fi variant is also available at GBP 329 (roughly Rs. 32,700) in the UK.

The 32GB Wi-Fi only variant is available for EUR 429 (roughly Rs. 34,100) in Germany, France, and Spain, EUR 449 (roughly Rs. 35,600) in Italy, and GBP 379 (roughly Rs. 37,600) in the UK. The Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact 16GB LTE 4G version can be pre-ordered at EUR 479 (roughly Rs. 47,600) in Germany and Spain, EUR 499 (roughly Rs. 39,600) in Italy and GBP 429 (roughly Rs. 42,600) in the UK.
