Toshiba Launches Two New Hybrid Windows 8.1 Laptops in India

Toshiba on Tuesday has announced two new detachable hybrid Windows 8.1 laptops for the Indian market, the Portege Z10t-A and Satellite L30W.

While the company didn't detail the price and availability of the Portege Z10t-A ultrabook, the Satellite L30W will be available from early July at Rs. 53,520.

The two-part detachable hybrid - Toshiba Portege Z10t-A ultrabook - features a 11.6-inch IPS full-HD (1920x1080 pxiel) touchscreen that doubles as a tablet, and an LED backlit keyboard dock. It is powered by an Intel Core i5-3439Y processor. It includes 4GB of DDR3 RAM with storage option of 128GB (SSD) mSATA.

Connectivity options on the detachable tablet features include a full-size SD card slot, USB 3.0, an audio combo jack, and a Micro-HDMI port. The spill-resistant keyboard dock includes touchpad with Windows 8.1 gesture support and connectivity options 1 Gigabit TX Ethernet, USB 2.0 port, RGB and a full-size HDMI port.

Toshiba Satellite L30W is powered by an Intel Core i3-4012Y processor clocked at 1.50GHz. Featuring 500GB hard drive storage, the Satellite L30W has a 13-inch HD IPS display detachable tablet and a keyboard dock, just like the Portege Z10t-A ultrabook. The Satellite L30W is the first detachable device by Toshiba that features DTS sound tuned by Skullcandy. Connectivity options on the tablet includes wireless display support, SD card slot, Micro-HDMI and USB 2.0.
