The consumer electronics giant, Sony Electronics has introduced a new series of HX850 Bravia TVs. These televisions come with Sony's X-Reality TM PRO video processing, which optimises texture, sharpness and color while minimising noise. Sony HX850 Bravia TVs will be available in 40, 46 and 55-inches and will be available in a price range of Rs. 93,900 - Rs. 2,09,900.

Other notable features of TVs under this series are 3D Super Resolution, MotionflowTM XR800 and 4x High Speed 3D Panel. The 3D Super-resolution distinguishes near and far objects, applying near-field super-resolution processing to increase 3D feeling, while far-field super-resolution algorithm improves clarity for distant objects.

The Motionflow XR800/960 feature combines BRAVIA's native 200/240Hz panel with new image interpolation, LED backlight blinking and IB Reduction to achieve smoother, sharper, clearer and more natural images. The 4x High Speed 3D Panel function helps in ensuring that quick camera movements look natural with less judder and reduced blur.

Sony HX850 Bravia TVs come with an in-built browser and a host of entertainment and social networking apps. To cater to the Indian viewers, Sony also has Indianised apps like Sony Entertainment Network, STAR, BIGFlix, FridayMoviez, Bollywood Hungama, What's-On-India, et al.

Just like smart TVs from other companies such as Samsung, LG and Panasonic, Sony Bravia too has a Media Remote app. This app will turn your mobile device into a remote control with a full QWERTY keyboard that promises faster and convenient browsing.
