Sony has recently launched floating-touch enabled Android smartphone Xperia sola in India.
The smartphone comes with a 5MP rear camera, but there is no front camera in the smartphone.
The smartphone is just 9.9mm thick and offers better grip.
The device has a Micro-USB port for fast data transfer.
Connectivity options on Xperia sola include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and DLNA.
It has a 3.5 mm headphone/microphone jack at the top.
It comes with a 3.7-inch display with company's Mobile Bravia Engine.
Like every smartphone in Xperia NXT line-up, Xperia sola is also running on Android 2.3 and will get the Android 4.0 update later this year.
Powered by 1GHz dual core processor, it has been priced at Rs. 20,499.
The smartphone camera supports up to 720p video recording.
Below the screen there are three capacitive touch buttons.
Sony claims that Xperia sola will provide up to 6 hours of talk-time and up to 475 hours of standby time.
The internal memory of the smartphone is 8GB, and can be expanded via the microSD card slot.
