Nokia is trying to make a big impact in the smartphone space with its Windows 8 line-up. The Lumia 820 is the mid-end contender from the Finish handset maker.
Nokia Lumia 820 comes with a 4.3-inch AMOLED ClearBlack display with 800x480 resolution.
It comes with Dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor with 1GB of RAM.
The back is made of plastic material and has a glossy finish.
Lumia 820 features an 8.0-megapixel rear camera sans the PureView technology.
There is also a VGA camera in the front.
Apps such Nokia Drive, Nokia Maps, Nokia Music, Facebook, Smart Shoot et al come pre-installed on the smartphone.
There is 8GB internal storage available on this smartphone, which can be expanded to up to 32GB. The company is also offering 7GB free SkyDrive storage with this device.
The volume rocker, power/screen lock key and the camera button are located on the right side of the phone.
There are no controls on the left side.
The 3.5 mm jack sits on the top of the phone.
Nokia Lumia 820 does not have a unibody design.
The bottom of the phone features a micro usb port along with the speaker outlet.
The SIM card and the micro SD card slots are located next to each other.
Nokia Lumia 820 comes with 1,650 mAh battery that claims to give up to 330 hours of standby time and 14 hours of talk time on 2G and up to 330 hours of standby time and 8 hours of talk time on 3G.
In the box, one will find the device, battery, charger, Dolby headphone and the booklet.
