Apple held a special event in California where it introduced the iPad mini, refreshed the 'bigger' iPad and unveiled new Mac desktops and laptops.
The star of the event was the iPad mini, which became official after months of speculation about its release.
The iPad mini comes with a 7.9-inch display and weighs just 308 grams.
The iPad mini is powered by Apple's A5 chip and comes with both front and rear cameras.

The iPad mini has been priced at $329 for the 16GB Wi-Fi only version. It will be available in 34 countries starting November 2.
Apple also introduced a 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display.
Entry-level 13-inch MacBook Pro comes with 2.5GHz dual-core i5 processor, 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD and is available for Rs. 114,900.
The 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display completest the MacBook family.
Apple has introduced a new iMac, that is just 5mm thick on the side.
The 21.5-inch iMac with 2.7GHz processor, 8GB RAM and 1TB hard disk will be available for Rs. 85,900 starting November.
Apple also used the opportunity to refresh the Mac Mini.
The new Mac Mini with 2.5GHz dual-core i5 processor, 4GB RAM and 500GB HDD is available today for Rs. 39,900.
