Personally Tech is our weekly column that looks at men and women from different walks of life, and the technology they love and rely on every day. This week, we caught up with Vishal Bali, the co-founder and Chairman of Medwell Ventures.

Before starting Medwell, Bali was the Fortis Healthcare Group CEO, and his new company is also in the same field. Medwell says it wants to make healthcare more accessible through the use of technology, and Bali himself clearly likes the latest tech-toys, judging from his collection of cool gadgets.

Read on to know more about the apps and devices he swears by.

1. Describe your technology setup - what computer/ phone/ tablet/ camera/ gaming console/ other gadgets do you use?
Vishal Bali: I use a MacBook Pro as my primary computer, and I'm also using an iPhone 6 and the iPad Air 2. 2. What are three apps (mobile/ tablet or PC/ Mac) you couldn't live without?|
Vishal Bali: There are only two apps that I can't live without - WhatsApp has become completely essential for communication, and I also love the Kindle app and use it to read books all the time. Both are essential.

3. What is the one gadget (other than your phone) you never travel without?
Vishal Bali: My iPad Air 2 - it's useful for both work and relaxing.

4. What is your dream gadget/ technology setup?
Vishal Bali: I have the Bose Lifestyle 520 series II home theatre system at home, and I wish I had a video wall that was compatible with it for the full cinema experience.

5. How has technology changed the way in which you work?
Vishal Bali: Technology has changed everyone's life. It has made my life more organised and well-connected during my travel thanks to apps like WhatsApp.
