Xiaomi was tipped to launch the Redmi Pro 2 last month, but that didn't happen. The device has been leaked on multiple occasions revealing specifications and other details, and now a fresh leak indicates its pricing information as well. According to a new leak, the Redmi Pro 2 is expected to be priced starting at CNY 1,599 (roughly Rs. 15,000).

MyDrivers reports that a listing on online retail site Taobao reveals that the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 is priced at CNY 1,599 (roughly Rs. 15,000), however it is also available in a higher configuration variant for CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs.16,900). Previous leaks suggest that the device will be made available in 4GB RAM/ 64GB of inbuilt storage and 6GB RAM/128GB inbuilt storage options.

Earlier leaks also tip that the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 will sport a dual camera setup at the back - with two 12-megapixel sensors. It is also expected that the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 smartphone will be packing a MediaTek Helio P25 processor instead of the not-yet-announced Snapdragon 660, which was suggested earlier. Also, the Redmi Pro 2 is tipped to sport an OLED display and house a 4500mAh battery as well.

There is no word on a launch date for this smartphone as of now, and currently, Xiaomi is gearing up for the Mi 6 launch on April 19 in Beijing. The device's teaser was also released a while ago, and it is expected to come in multiple storage/ RAM bundles. The premium variant is also expected to sport a dual curved screen, and all the variants are expected to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 835 SoC.
