Vivo has launched its new 4G-enabled Y31L smartphone in India. Priced at Rs. 9,450, the Vivo Y31L smartphone is now available to buy in Black and White colours. The new Y31L smartphone is an India-specific model of the Vivo Y31A that recently launched in China.

The Vivo Y31L is a dual-SIM supporting smartphone that runs FunTouch OS 2.1, based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The handset features a 4.7-inch qHD (540x960 pixels) resolution IPS display and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, clubbed with 1GB RAM and Adreno 306 GPU.

The handset packs 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 128GB). It sports an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash, along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone camera can record and playback videos in full-HD resolution. The Vivo Y31L on the connectivity front features 4G, 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM radio, and Micro-USB.

The Vivo Y31L measures 137.2x68.7x8.3mm, weighs 133 grams and is backed by a 2200mAh battery. The device also supports accelerometer, proximity sensor, and light sensor.

Vivo earlier this month launched one of the first smartphones in the world featuring 6GB of RAM - the Vivo Xplay5 Elite. The handset features a dual curved 5.43-inch Super Amoled display with QHD (1440x2560 pixels) resolution. It is powered by Qualcomm's flagship chipset, the quad-core Snapdragon 820 SoC clocked at 2.15GHz, paired with 6GB RAM and Adreno 530 GPU. Some of the other features of the device are 16-megapixel rear camera; 8-megapixel front-facing camera; 4G LTE; 128GB inbuilt storage, and 3600mAh battery.
