Samsung has silently launched its Grand Neo Plus smartphone, which is now listed on the company's official online India store priced at Rs. 9,999. The Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo Plus is a variant of the Grand Neo smartphone, and is available to buy in Black, Gold, and White colours.The Galaxy Grand Neo Plus is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device which runs the Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. It comes with a 5-inch WVGA (480x800 pixels) TFT display.

The smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor (unspecified) coupled with 1GB of RAM. It comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 64GB). It sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash while there is a secondary 2-megapixel front-facing camera also on board.

On the connectivity front, the Galaxy Grand Neo Plus offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options.

The smartphone packs a 2200mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to 11 hours of talk time and up to 430 hours of standby time on 3G networks. It measures 143.7x77.1x9.6mm, and packs sensors such as accelerometer, ambient light sensor, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.

Samsung recently announced the global availability of two new colours for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. The Galaxy S6 will come in Blue Topaz, while the Galaxy S6 Edge would be made available in Green Emerald. When launched, the two smartphones were available only in White Pearl, Black Sapphire, and Gold Platinum options.
