Cyanogen over the weekend confirmed that Android 5.0 Lollipop-based build CM12S for the One entered final testing. OnePlus is also making its own Lollipop-based custom ROM - Oxygen OS. Now, OnePlus on Tuesday jumped on to social platforms such as on Twitter and Google+ to share a video showing the One smartphone running the latest Android-based build. Additionally, OnePlus on reaching 200,000 followers on Twitter announced to give away 20,000 invites to purchase the OnePlus One smartphone.

The YouTube video titled "The OnePlus One just got a little sweeter. Coming soon!" shows the Android 5.0 Lollipop build running smoothly on the OnePlus One. The 24-seconds video by OnePlus gives a brief sneak peak into the launcher of the One running Android 5.0 Lollipop which was then followed by Easter egg in the Android settings. Unfortunately, with just this shown, it is unclear whether the OxygenOS or CM12S build is being teased by the company.

In addition to the video, OnePlus also announced give away 20,000 invites to consumers on the eve of reaching 200,000 followers on Twitter. The Chinese company announced the news via Twitter on Tuesday and directed interested readers to sign up for the invites. Notably, this was not the first time the One smartphone was available to buy without an invite as the company in the past has announced similar offers - unfortunately, as before, users hoping to purchase the handset in India require country-specific invites.

At the time of writing, the form "200k Twitter Followers - 20,000 invites" was not accepting responses from consumers - and invites appear to have finished.

In other news, ahead of the official unveiling of the new custom Android 5.0 Lollipop-based ROM by OnePlus, named OxygenOS, screenshots of the UI have surfaced on the Internet. Looking at the leaked screenshots, the OxygenOS seems to sport a flat UI dominated by solid colours. Gizmochinahas posted few screenshots purportedly showing the yet-to-be-revealed OxygenOS.

If the leaked screenshots claimed to be from the OxygenOS are to be believed, the overall UI design looks completely different from the current CyanogenMod OS used on OnePlus One. OnePlus had announced that it would reveal more details about the new custom ROM on February 12.
