Motorola is expected to launch its much-awaited Moto G (Gen 4) aka Moto G4 in India on May 17, and the Lenovo-owned company has started rolling out teasers for the upcoming smartphone.

The Motorola India Twitter handle has posted a series of teaser images with hashtag #Missing on the social media website hinting at various features the Moto G4 might sport. The teaser images show different users facing various problems, none of which would be an issue for the upcoming Moto G4. The teasers mention users' smartphones hanging while playing video games, switching off unexpectedly due to low battery, and ruining images because of slow camera autofocus.

Nothing else has been mentioned about the smartphone in particular. However, we can expect more teasers hinting at other details about the Moto G4 soon. The company is also expected to launch the rumoured Moto G4 Plus as well, housing a fingerprint sensor in addition.

Motorola India last week started sending invites for a New Delhi event on May 17, tipping the launch of the Moto G4. Although nothing is mentioned in the press invitation except for the date, the Lenovo-owned company is anticipated to launch the next-generation Moto G-series smartphone in India first. To recall, Motorola had launched the Moto G (Gen 3) in India first, ahead of similar events around the globe. More details about the event can be expected to be shared by the company soon.

It is worth mentioning that since Lenovo has confirmed plans to overhaul the Moto brand to "Moto by Lenovo", the Moto G (Gen 4) smartphone is likely to be launched with slightly different branding compared to its predecessors.

The Motorola Moto G (Gen 4) and the Moto G4 Plus have leaked quite a few times recently via videos and images. However, none of the information has been confirmed by the company. The smartphone is expected to feature a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) resolution display, an octa-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB of inbuilt storage, and a 13-megapixel rear camera. The Moto G4 Plus is rumoured to sport a fingerprint sensor, and a 16-megapixel rear camera.
