Indian manufacturer Karbonn has announced the launch of a new dual-SIM smartphone in the country. Dubbed as Smart A18, the smartphone has been priced at Rs. 12,990 and is available on sale immediately.

Karbonn Smart A18 features Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 1GHz processor, 1500 mAh battery, and 4.3-inch IPS display. The smartphone also comes with dual-SIM connectivity, 5MP camera, 1.3MP front camera and Wi-Fi.

Karbonn A18 will compete directly with Micromax's recently launched A90 Superfone Pixel smartphone, which also comes with similar features and has been priced exactly the same.

Since the launch of its first smartphone A1 last year, Karbonn Mobiles has been very active in the smartphone arena and has launched four smartphones and a tablet in the country.
