After launching its P10 Lite smartphone last month, Huawei has now launched another budget offering but this time in its 'Y' series - Huawei Y5 2017. The smartphone has 4G LTE support and will be made available in Blue, Gold, Pink, White, and Grey colours but the pricing and the availability of the device has not been disclosed by the company as of now.

The dual-SIM Huawei Y5 2017 runs EMUI 4.1 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The device sports a 5.0-inch HD display and is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core MT6737T SoC (Cortex-A53). The phone comes with 2GB of RAM. The Huawei Y5 2017 comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB).

In terms of optics, the smartphone comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera coupled with dual-LED and f/2.0 aperture. At front, the Huawei Y5 2017 bears a 5-megapixel camera with 84-degree wide-angle lens and LED flash.

The smartphone is fitted with a 3000mAh battery. The Huawei Y5 2017 measures 143.8x72x8.35mm and weighs 150 grams. Connectivity options offered by the phone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. The sensors on the smartphone include acceleration sensor, ambient light sensor, digital compass, and proximity sensor.

Huawei launched its P10 Lite smartphone last month, which runs EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat. It sports a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display, and is powered by a 2.15GHz octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 658 SoC with Mali-T830MP2 GPU coupled with 4GB of RAM.
