We have seen BlackBerry's 'Venice' slider smartphone, believed to run Android, in live images before. Now, a fresh image featuring the yet-to-be-announced 'Venice' smartphone has popped up on the Internet.

First posted by BerryFlow, the rumoured BlackBerry Venice Android phone was spotted at the Toronto Film Festival. In the leaked image, the handset is seen running a near stock version of the Messenger app. The image also purportedly shows the handset covered in a protective case to possibly hide the overall design. Unfortunately, the blurred image only shows the front of the handset.

The BlackBerry 'Venice' Android smartphone was last month leaked in a series of images purportedly showing the design.

In the previously leaked live images, the BlackBerry 'Venice' was seen featuring a sliding Qwerty keyboard just beneath the display while the home screen showed the regular dialler, contacts, mails, Chrome, Camera, Calendar, and Play Store apps.

In one of the leaked live images, the handset's top panel was seen housing the SIM card and microSD card slots. The right panel was seen including home and volume rocker keys. The rear panel of the 'Venice' smartphone is seen sporting a textured pattern alongside an 18-megapixel rear camera with OIS and dual-LED flash.

The BlackBerry 'Venice' smartphone has been seen sporting a speaker grille at the bottom of the front panel, in-line with previous leaked images.

Based on earlier leaks and rumours, the BlackBerry 'Venice' slider smartphone is said to feature a 5.4-inch QHD (1440x2560 pixels) display, a 1.8GHz hexa-core 64-bit Snapdragon 808 SoC, 3GB of RAM, an 18-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The handset is said to arrive on all four US carriers namely AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobiles, and Sprint starting November.

We are yet to officially hear any launch date for the BlackBerry's anticipated 'Venice' Android smartphone.
