The largest Indian mobile manufacturer, Micromax is a major player in the budget segment. Apart from feature phones and smartphones, the company also manufacturers tablets and two-in-one devices. Micromax recently launched a sub-brand called Yu, whose products were made available only on e-commerce portals in India. Through the Yu brand, Micromax stepped into the health and fitness gadgets segment as well. Micromax's latest mobile launch is the Vdeo 2. The smartphone was launched in December 2016. The phone comes with a 4.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 pixels by 854 pixels.
The Micromax Vdeo 2 is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core it comes with 1GB of RAM. The phone packs 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Micromax Vdeo 2 packs a 5-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 2-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
The Micromax Vdeo 2 runs Android 6.0 and is powered by a 1800mAh removable battery.
The Micromax Vdeo 2 is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Micro-SIM and Micro-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, FM, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
