Micromax logo The largest Indian mobile manufacturer, Micromax is a major player in the budget segment. Apart from feature phones and smartphones, the company also manufacturers tablets and two-in-one devices. Micromax recently launched a sub-brand called Yu, whose products were made available only on e-commerce portals in India. Through the Yu brand, Micromax stepped into the health and fitness gadgets segment as well. Micromax's latest mobile launch is the Canvas 1. The smartphone was launched in July 2017. The phone comes with a 5.00-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels.

The Micromax Canvas 1 is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor and it comes with 2GB of RAM. The phone packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Micromax Canvas 1 packs a 8-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The Micromax Canvas 1 runs Android 7.0 and is powered by a 2500mAh non removable battery. It measures 143.00 x 71.00 x 8.30 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 150.00 grams.

The Micromax Canvas 1 is a dual SIM (GSM) smartphone that accepts . Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, Headphones, FM, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Accelerometer and Ambient light sensor.
