Intex logo Intex is an Indian handset manufacturer which pivoted from making computer peripherals. It started with feature phones and now also makes Android smartphones. It is one of India's biggest smartphone makers. The company has also manufactured TVs and recently launched an Android smartwatch in a bid to expand its product portfolio. Intex's latest mobile launch is the ELYT-e1. The smartphone was launched in April 2017. The phone comes with a 5.00-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels at a PPI of 294 pixels per inch.

The Intex ELYT-e1 is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm MSM8916 processor and it comes with 2GB of RAM. The phone packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Intex ELYT-e1 packs a 8-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The Intex ELYT-e1 runs Android 6.0 and is powered by a 2200mAh non removable battery. It measures 142.40 x 71.50 x 8.70 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 145.00 grams.

The Intex ELYT-e1 is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Micro-SIM and Micro-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, Headphones, FM, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor and Ambient light sensor.
