China-based Gionee was established in 2002. Besides India, the brand also has presence in countries such as Vietnam, Taiwan, Myanmar, Thailand and the Middle East. Gionee is a Chinese company with a strong offline retail presence in India, eschewing the trend of going online-only. The company has launched several Android smartphones in the low- and mid-end segments. Gionee's latest mobile launch is the M6S Plus. The smartphone was launched in April 2017. The phone comes with a 6.00-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels.
The Gionee M6S Plus is powered by 1.95GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor and it comes with 6GB of RAM. The phone packs 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Gionee M6S Plus packs a 12-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
The Gionee M6S Plus runs Android 6.0 and is powered by a 6020mAh non removable battery. It measures 163.30 x 80.90 x 8.25 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 215.00 grams.
The Gionee M6S Plus is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, 3G and 4G. Sensors on the phone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
