New iPhone models have been announced, which means it's time to start thinking which one you want. This week we tell you how low prices of the older iPhone variants may go, and some great deals on computer monitors, big-screen TVs, premium headphones, a digital camera, the iPad mini, and power banks for your smartphone and tablet.

Which iPhone would you buy now?
Apple finally announced the new iPhone models this week. Apple initially posted September 26 India availability on its website, then changed it to October 17, before removing the information completely. While confusion remains around the launch date, Apple is likely to bring the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus to India sooner than we might imagine.

Once the new iPhone models hit retail shelves in the country, we'll have an interesting set of options to choose from. There will be the new iPhone models at the higher end, then there will be the last year's iPhone 5s, and the good-old iPhone 4S and iPhone 4 which still manage to find a place on Amazon's bestseller list every once in a while.

The iPhone 5s has now touched the Rs. 35,000 price mark, and it is expected to stay there until the new iPhone models land in India. The iPhone 4S and iPhone 4 prices will continue to fall even under the Rs. 16,000 price point - if the latter continues to be available in India. The iPhone 5s still makes a great buy at that price, and if you're looking for a phone that would be compatible with iOS 8, you could go for the iPhone 4S. Expect more flash sales for older iPhone models this weekend, and don't be shy to pick one up at a sweet price. The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are not going on a discount anytime soon.

There are three USB and HDMI ports, one headphone out port, and other standard ports are included. The smart TV also includes NFC connectivity. It comes with a built-in 2.1 speaker system with an output rating of 24W, powered by a Dolby Digital decoder.

Amazon is selling the Samsung 32-inch HD LED TV at Rs. 17,990, that's the price you'll find on lesser known brands' TVs. The TV includes a USB port that allows you to play movies from a flash drive. If you're looking to add another display to your home or office, or a screen for your gaming console, this is an affordable choice.

Power banks for smartphones and tablets
Power banks have now become as essential as smartphones. We spend our entire day fiddling with our devices so much that they easily run out of battery sooner than we expect. You can now carry around portable power banks which can be used to refuel those smartphone batteries, especially in cases where a power outlet seems like a distant possibility.

Amazon is running a sale on power banks this week. The Portronics Charge II 12,000mAh power bank is selling at Rs. 2,399 (MRP Rs. 3,999), while the Portronics Power Box Smart Portable Power Bank 10,000mAh is selling at Rs. 1,916. Both these power banks come with dual USB ports, which means you can charge two devices at once. Amazon is also selling the Essot 10,000mAh power bank at Rs. 1,599, which comes with an LCD display and dual output.

If you're looking for something lighter, you could pick up the Eveready Ultima UM52 power bank at Rs. 1,698 which includes a 5200 mAh battery.

After the iPhone, it's now the iPad's turn. The next generation iPad models are due, and this only means one thing - lower prices for older models. The Apple iPad mini 16GB (non-Retina) is now available at as low as Rs. 14,380 on Amazon. The same variant is selling at around Rs. 16,500 on Flipkart. If you're in the market for a tablet under the Rs. 15,000 price point, this is a really good option.

It's closest competitor is the BenQ 21.5-inch LED monitor. Amazon is selling it at Rs. 7,089 this week. It comes in a slim, minimalistic design, and the company promises a flicker-free backlight. The company claims the reading mode available on the monitor adjusts the monitor's color temperature in such a way that it reduces eye-strain.
