Take Best Low Light Photos With the Sony Xperia Z3 and These Apps
These days, most new flagship phones boast of great cameras with huge sensors and amazing low-light performance. But not all cameras are created equal, and there are differences even at this level.

The Sony Xperia Z3 has a pretty good camera, as you can see in this review. It even worked out pretty well for a shot taken in a dimly lit room with small, bright lights.

But there are a few ways to make the photos even better.

Get a tripod
Sony sells an official mobile tripod which you can buy online at a little under Rs. 4,000 - or get a third party tripod that fits your phone. This is because the shutter speed in low light is longer and the slightest shakes gets magnified, making your picture blurry.

Check the camera settings
Take control using the settings in the app - if your phone's default app lets you adjust the shutter speed and ISO settings you can tweak them to try and get a better picture in low light instead of relying on the automatic settings. If your camera app isn't letting you change these settings, try Night Camera it is designed for low light use, and comes with ISO control.

Brighten up a darker image
If a dark scene becomes very grainy when you photograph it, change the settings and take a darker picture instead of trying to brighten it up in your camera. Instead, you can use an app like VSCO Cam to take the picture and then brighten up the image later - as we mentioned in this article on picture editing apps VSCO Cam is an amazing app that lets you feel like a professional photo editor.
