Logitech on Wednesday launched the X100 Wireless Speaker in India, at Rs. 2,995. Available in four colour options - Orange, Yellow, Dark Grey and Green, the X100 Wireless Speaker streams music over Bluetooth and promises battery backup of five hours. The device is compatible with almost all Bluetooth-enabled devices, has a wireless range of 30 feet and a design that resembles a circular tiffin box. It also features a built-in microphone for calls.

For audio playback, the speaker uses an Bluetooth (A2DP) profile or 3.5 mm audio output, and supports Bluetooth-Hands-Free Profile (HFP1.6) for phone calls. Moreover, it has dimensions of 16x12x4.1 cm, weighs around 159 grams and has a rated wattage of 3W. Logitech offers a one-year limited warranty on the product.

Speaking on the launch, Mr. Ashok Jangra, Cluster Category Manager, India & South West Asia at Logitech said, "Logitech believes in in creating devices which help in making consumer experience intuitive and better. With the launch of Logitech X100 Wireless Speaker, we aim to provide our customers with power packed portability which adds to their style quotient and complements their mobile lifestyle. Logitech X100 Wireless Speaker comes in colourful colours according to the requirement. We are dedicated to creating products that bring out the crystal clear sound."

Recently, Logitech also launched the Logitech PowerShell Controller with battery in India, giving an immediate availability and a price of Rs. 8,995 for iPhone 5s, iPhone 5 and 5th generation iPod touch.

The OEM, known for making accessories, also announced its first set of accessories in India for the Apple iPad Air and iPad mini with Retina display. These include Ultrathin Keyboard Cover, Ultrathin Keyboard Folio and Folio Protective Case for iPad Air. For iPad mini with Retina display, the company had announced Ultrathin Keyboard Folio and Folio Protective Case.
