In our weekly column - Personally Tech - we look at the apps and gadgets that people from all walks of life love and can't live without. This week, we spoke to M A Mannan, Country Manager, Corsair Memory India.

Corsair is a two decade old company that is probably best known to gamers. The company makes RAM, along with other components that you'll need to assemble your own computer, such as cases and cooling systems. It also manufactures a range of gaming peripherals; it's no surprise then gaming is a big them when Mannan talks about his gadgets, but the one thing he always keeps in mind is how portable the devices are. Read on to know more.

1. Describe your technology setup - what computer/ phone/ tablet/ camera/ gaming console/ other gadgets do you use?

M A Mannan: I use a Dell Latitude E7440 Ultrabook - it is a fast and lightweight laptop that is handy for travel. My phone is a BlackBerry Q10. It is ideal for travellers like me because I'm always on-the-go for official work. I also have an iPad 3rd generation which I love because it is good for gaming at airports and waiting lounges.

2. What are three apps (mobile/ tablet or PC/ Mac) you couldn't live without?

M A Mannan: Only two that I can't live without - Google Maps and MakeMyTrip - as I travel a lot.

3. What is the one gadget (other than your phone) you never travel without?

M A Mannan: My Dell Ultrabook - it's great for travel.

4. What is your dream gadget/ technology setup?

M A Mannan: Working on a high end PC rig that can handle all work and gaming with ease.

5. How has technology changed the way in which you work?

M A Mannan: Drastic changes in technologies have done wonder for professionals like us who work from satellite office setup. High-speed internet, smarter phones, and WhatsApp have all changed the way we manage tasks and also maximised our productivity.
