If you own an Xbox One and a Windows Phone or a Windows 8 or Windows 10 PC, you can share screenshots using Microsoft's Smartglass app. It's handy feature that lets you share your gaming exploits on the go. Now you will be able to get the same screenshot sharing ability on an Android or iOS device, but with some strings attached.

For Android owners, you'll need the beta version of the Xbox One Smartglass app and if you're on iOS, it will be available only to those who are a part of the iOS Xbox One Smartglass Beta program via the App Store. With the expanded rollout, Microsoft is allowing users to view, share, and save screenshots from the Xbox One to the mobile device of their choice.

"With over 500 total votes on Xbox Feedback, we are adding the ability to view, share, and save Xbox One screenshots in the iOS and Android Xbox One SmartGlass apps, similar to the capabilities already available in the Xbox app on Windows 10," said Xbox's Director of Programming, Larry "Major Nelson" Hyrb on his blog.

You can find screenshots on the Activity Feed, profile pages and the new Capture hub within the app. Android users require the Xbox One Smartglass Beta app to be of build 2.4.1507 or higher, while iOS users in the Xbox One Smartglass Beta program need the app to be of build 2.108 or higher. The iPod touch (4th generation), iPhone (3GS, 4, 4S), and iPad (1,2,3), are compatible iOS devices, while the Android app is compatible with smartphones and tables 7-inches and larger that run Android 4.0 and higher.
