Opera Software has launched the latest version of its desktop browser (version 26) for Windows, Mac and Linux, as well as a new version for Android, adding new sharing features and stabilisation improvements.

The firm is boasting of the bookmark sharing feature new Opera for Android and desktop. Users can share the full bookmarks folder with other users via the updated browser. To share the bookmarks in Android devices, users can start by tapping on the Bookmarks button on the speed dial page of the browser, followed by a tap on the Manage button, and then select the bookmark or bookmark folder to be shared. After selection, the bookmark or the bookmark folder can be shared via a dedicated button seen besides the bin icon. In the desktop browser, users can simply share their bookmarks via a share button on the right side of the bookmarks page.

Sharing of bookmarks is available via Bluetooth, Hangouts, Google Keep, Google Plus, Android Beam, Google Drive or Gmail. Also, it is not necessary for the recipient to be using the Opera browser.

The latest Opera for desktop (version 26) brings the first stable Linux release. For Linux, Mac and Windows, the desktop version also brings a built-in print preview feature, and an easier method to import bookmarks and settings from other Web browsers. More details on the new Android and Desktop versions can be found on the Opera's blog.

Opera last month unveiled the first beta version (only for Android) of its very-popular Opera Mini browser, finally enabling end-users to use upcoming features ahead of general release. The company is also working on a subscription model for apps called the Opera Subscription Mobile Store.

The Opera Mini beta web browser (download) comes with a fresh new look in-line with the Google's Material Design. Opera Software released the beta version of its main browser back in March, following in Google and Mozilla's footsteps.
