Google announced on Thursday that Google Play Payments are going to become seamless with support for PayPal. The search engine giant also added a number of countries to already existing ones where it supports carrier billing, Google Play gift cards and developer sales.

Additionally, the maker of Android also stated that developers can now concentrate on creating apps and games and not worry about payments since Google will itself process all payments, reconcile all currencies globally, and make a monthly deposit in the designated bank account.

Now users can choose PayPal for their Google Play purchases in 12 countries, including the U.S., Germany, and Canada. Google Wallet now features PayPal as an option. In their blog, Google acknowledges, "Carrier billing-which lets users charge purchases in Google Play directly to their phone bill-continues to be a popular way to pay."

In that vein, the company has expanded carrier billing coverage to seven more countries for a total of 24, which Google says means almost half of all Google Play users will now have the option when making their purchases. Google has also made gift cards available to a total of 13 countries, including Japan and Germany.

Google also announced that developers in 13 new countries like Indonesia, Malaysia and Turkey can now sell apps on Google Play. This brings the total to 45 countries with support for local developers. It has also increased buyer currency support to 28 countries, which helps developers tailor pricing in 60 countries.

Recently, Google also began rolling out its Google Play Services 4.4 to all Android devices worldwide. The update focused on developers added a number of features that "can make [developers'] apps better than before".
