Airtel has launched a super-fast broadband service called V-Fiber that offers Internet speeds up to 100Mbps; Chennai is the first city to get this. The company has also expanded its unlimited free voice calling facility, earlier available on select plans, to all broadband plans it provides.

Handset manufacturers have requested the government to defer the deadline for implementation of panic button in mobile phones to April 1. The reason cited for the delay is that mobile phone manufacturers are unable to test the feature with proposed single emergency number 112, which is not operational at present.

Amazon has expanded Pantry, a service under which the company allows users to shop for over 4,000 everyday essentials such as grocery and household products, to Bengaluru. Prime users do not need to pay any delivery charges under a Pantry grocery box service promotional offer, while other customers have to pay a delivery fee of Rs. 20.
